It's a nice idea, but I think it's a bit melodramatic and sappy.

'keep me, protect me and I will live forever'...
Until of course something happens to the Kodak Picture Easy Share servers.

Or like our emails will be around forever, unless Gmail decides to
cancel their *Beta* Email service ;)

Digital photos are cool, but I think backing them up to a DVD, *and*
having prints of the photos is really the best way to ensure they are
kept 'forever', not saving them entirely on some corporation's servers
somewhere.
