Lets see if I get the evacuation plan right.... "GET OUT NOW". Seems I heard this a day before Katrina hit. Two days before it hit. Maybe even three or more days. Russel must have heard it as he got out. Adam must have as he got out. Yes, there are people who depended on the government to get them out for various reasons and if you want to blame the government for that, then blame the right government. City and State government have responsibility for these things, NOT the federal. And no, I'm not saying that Bush is the best in the world or even adequate. I'm saying that he is not the one to be blamed for everything. That's the point of Stein's write-up and that's the position I hold. Blame Bush for what he has responsibility for. He does not govern Louisiana. He does not head FEMA. He did not make up nor distribute the evacuation plan.
