I don't suppose anyone knows how to translate "first responder".. perhaps someone could clarify for me the distinction between this and a paramedic and an EMT. I am deep in a section about the legalities of volunteering so it may matter.
My completely non-legal understanding is that the paramedic and/or EMT is the "first responder."
