Phase two is going to have an employment relocation section for communities to donate job positions. Katrina isn't going to be the last "big one" as Florida gets hit all the time every year, so we're looking for the site to last a while and help in the long term...we're also going to need a similar application to find homes and donated land by communities...the site will be more focused towards communities that want to work together rather than individuals just donating to an organization were no one really knows or feels like they know where the money is going. So far we've got two families relocating and Dana and I have been working on more simply by spreading the word. Since New Orleans didn't have plan, or at least a good one, maybe they should have had a generic checklist of needs, besides telling the public to "get out" and "good luck"....
