Yes, but we had a good stretch in terms of trust: Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush. Of course Pres. Reagan had the Iran-Contra thing but that was, really, a much lesser offense the Mr. Bush's fake war. That is, it makes you appreciate the days when all you had to worry about was a few guns in a banana republic. Nowadays, it's the guns, troops, money, reconstruction contracts, and lost world prestige. Mr. Bush's screw ups make Mr. Reagan's look like an inconsequntial li'l white lie. Pres Clinton, however, gave many Americans the impression that he didn't honor the Whitehouse. While that is an issue of trust, it's mostly an issue of symbolism. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Studio MX from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=50 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:175124 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
