aren't you the same guy who was just saying that you didn't want the federal government to help you? I agree with that assessment by the way, I don't want to to help me anything either, much less try to change my value system.
I guess I think that your idea is wrong and patronizing because it isn't that they don't *know* there are better jobs, they simply don't have the bandwidth to go after them. As for schools, the last thing the schools need is more money, they are already a very large sinkhole in the economy. Give them more money and they'll hire consultants to put together power points about things everybody agrees on, sure as shooting. Delay college admission? Erm. College is where it sometimes begins to go right for education.
