I'm torn I guess... it seems like they're now just mimicking the movies. I
assume there was a conscious decision to go with the "version that more
people knew" but it seems rather forced.

I'm still strongly in the camp that says Close should be gone and Lana
should be a sweet memory. ;^) They seem to be doing all the stuff with
Lana NOW that they should have done three years ago... which pushes out
Clark and Lois's relationship several more years at least (unless they do
something stupid).

It's also sad that they just eliminated Pete so ambigiously. He knows
Clark's secret and I would have liked to see the comics storyline with him
play out eventually. Until the premier Clark had no regular to commiserate
with because pretty much everybody with breasts was a love interest.

My prediction (hope?) now is that Chloe will be killed off at last...
preferably at the hands of Lex thus cementing the animosity between them.

I'm also torn about the "finally human" thing... but I think that will
depend on how long they keep it up.

They've set the pieces in place to put the story "back on track" here... I'm
just worried that they'll screw it all up again. (Seeing the tatoo's on the
Kryptonians backs worries me... I've a sickening feeling that we'll discover
that Lana is somehow part Krytonian through her crazy aunt.)
