I have heard this from some homeschool parents of special-needs kids -- ie look, Joey has an IQ of 83, why make his life miserable with algebra? He wants to be a mechanic. Hard for me to say as this is so not my kids, but to a point I agree.
Dana Also not all kids want or should be in a university entrance track.
