Is he replaceable?  Yes, but the things he brought to the table is going 
to make it hard.  I don't think that BB is going to leave the A's. 
Would you rather live in Oakland or Boston?  What is his salary, 
anyways?  I thought it was in the $1 million area, but I'm not sure. 
Besides that, Theo was a good manager, and he got fed up with management 
and walked away.  The people who need to change is the Sox' brass. 
Getting a new manager isn't going to help anything if they don't change. 
  This situation will pop up again.

Reminds me of the old Harry Sinden days with the Bruins.  Finally, he 
stopped trying to be everything in the organization and let his 
management do their jobs, and things went much smoother for them.
