go ahead and miss "Captain America's". It sucks, and it actually is quite insulting to what the Irish see as American Culture. No worse than some of our "Irish Pubs" here, so all's fair.
It's been a while since I've been there, but there were a whole bunch of bars around the area that Capt Americas is in. And, of course, don't miss the Jameson's distillery and the Guinness Brewery. Neat bunch of history in there. I'd also take a double decker tourist-trap tour. They are so cliche, but you really get a sense of the city. Good luck if you're driving in Dublin. It's a nightmare.
