I think the difference on perspective here is due to whether you are in the SUV or trying to see around the bad driver in front of you who feels it's ok to yack on his/her cell phone because he/she is bigger/higher than everyone else ;) Not that you would do such a thing of course ;)
I maintain that they are ugly, stupid and wasteful.
