I had an indoor/outdoor cat, up 'til a couple of months ago, that was
grumpy, whiney, and licked plastic grocery bags at length. Really
unpleasant all around when he was inside - didn't like people, whined
relentlessly at the smallest glance or touch, and licked those damn bags
endlessly.... When he was outside, he was the sweetest, most loving,
cuddly thing. Should have been a case study for multiple
personalities! So, on the cat side, I'm not so sure about the
unconditional love. Our new puppy, on the other hand, should be a case
study for that! What a sweetie!
