I think anyone on this list knows I'm competent at what i do. There are times we all stop worrying about appearances and just be ourselves. I do that here. Others do that when they go out drinking. Or when they hang out with friends. To me these are my friends and I'm going to just relax and be myself flaws and all.
I'm a good person, i have a big heart. I'm VERY good at what i do in the top percentile ranking on all the tests I've taken for it. I am unique. I am an asset. Some of the worlds most successful people were dyslexic. So when I'm doing things that are non-personal then i do have to spend a good deal of time rereading comments because i do find myself making mistakes. If someone does not like how i spell in the part of my life that i consider personal then so be it. I have no trouble finding work. I totally get what you're saying that i have to keep up my image. But do you not agree we all have to have time to just be ourselves? Maybe you will say this is not the place to relax since my next boss could be on this list. And maybe you are right but this list is my sanctuary. CFCOM has helped me through everything important in my life since i was 17. Getting married, divorced, wife leaving me, best friend killing himself, work trouble, scumbag bosses, my boss impersonating me on cfjobs to try replacing me, etc etc. I trust the people here with all that i am. And perhaps i should not be so trusting because it could turn around and bite me in the ass. But that is a character flaw i am too nice, i am too trusting, i am too forgiving. My life has been a list of things that would not have happened if i was not such a trusting and forgiving person. Hell i hold no harsh feelings to my ex-wife (btw divorce was final last week guys yay!).
