This movie had a lot of less-spectacular persaonlities in it, and I think 
that's one of the reasons it works so well.  I'd love to see somebody play 
the joker in the way that the scarecrow was played - that he's not 
necessarily the persona of the scarecrow himself (hence the acid-bath of the 
other movies), but his goal is acheived by being that persona.

However, the comparisons between the Qui-Gon Jin and the Ras Au'Gul (however 
you spell that) are pretty remarkable when Bruce is in training.
