Probably the worst story I heard went something like this: Women was flying was A to B. She had a layover at A_B. She was so early, she had the opportunity to take an earlier flight to B. Then the person helping her realized her baggage was already checked, so she couldn't fly on the earlier flight. The woman said, (paraphrasing) "I guess that makes sense. I could have packed a bomb, so I need to fly w/ my luggage."
At that point, she was pretty much reamed by security for making a bomb threat. She ended up paying a fine. To me, that is ridiculous. I mean, she wasn't joking about bombs at the security gate, she was simply agreeing with the person at the desk. Anyone else hear this story? -rc > -----Original Message----- > From: Michael Dinowitz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Friday, January 04, 2002 3:33 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: We are in big trouble > > > The only thing I have to add to this story is that it's been > happening to many other groups as well.
