A low number of causalities for a major war against a million man army? Yes, that would be very low indeed.
If you figure we used to kill thousands at a stroke with strategic bombing. That we used to fire bomb cities, and that we used a couple nuclear weapon? I think that that is in thanks to the dedication of our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen, and the amazing technology that we now bring to the battle field.
