That's the weird part, other than an "attack" the Monday morning after Thanksgiving, which landed my in the ER, I haven't had any pain, really (there was one incident of similar pain about five years ago, I attributed it to gas...). In the last few days, since coming to the realization I will probably have the surgery I get twinges, but other than that there is no pain to speak of. The doctor said I must have been living with this condition for some time as my gall bladder is "full" of stones (5 or 6 large ones and a bunch of small ones - I've seen the ultrasound pics, and they are definitely there). and the wall of the gall bladdder is thickened, indicating scar tissue and further backing the claim of longevity... <<sigh>> > Hope it goes well.
