To understand war, I think of business. Business is the practice of the efficient use of resources to create more valuable resources. For example, taking ore and wood and turning it into a shovel to more quickly dig ditches. War is typically the organized theft of resources from those that use them more efficiently or productively. This was Hitler's hook: "Hey look at all the nice stuff they have! You should have that! let's got steal ... I mean repatriate it." The military, therefore, exists to protect our assets - both human and capital - from those that would wish to steal it. (The police exist to enforce the rule of law so that business can operate on an equal playing field.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:188539 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
