Well, the lung cancer won the war this morning. My wife's family is sad but 
it's also a relief from the journey to the inevitable end.  It's been a long 
couple of weeks since they took him in on Christmas day.   It's incredible to 
think that 4 months ago they didn't even know that he had lung cancer.   He was 
a person completely alive, riding the lawn mower outside, going to see his 
son's college baseball games on weekends, riding around in his new RV.  

No condolences necessary, I just want to restress that smoking causes lung 
cancer and the lung cancer is going to kill you, if you smoke.
