Now your property values fall. The US doesn't want commies in their neighborhood (hemisphere). Commies devalue assets and tend to wastefully murder their citizens. People are an asset and every capitalist knows that waste impoverishes us all. As to the oil, the US is Venezuela's largest customer. We need them, they need us. As long as they're willing to sell it for market prices there will be no problems. However it's US companies that were doing 1/3-1/2 of the production.
