*sighs* No. Capitalists value assets, and communists ignore greed.
Thus communism will always fail and capitalism will always generate
wealth.

It's the greed. You have to be able to defeat the greed. If your
system isn't built around greed it will fail.

Capitalism works because everybody is in it for themselves. Since
everybody wants an equal shot, they all support laws to give it to
them. Because there are laws to give them an equal shot, they do.
Because they do, they get stuff. Because they get stuff, they're
happy. Because they're happy they don't rob, rape, or kill. On the
whole. Because they don't rob, rape, or kill it gives the impression
that they care about people. But really they just care about their
stuff.

I disagree with that in a big way, but I'll leave it at my opinion of
Chavez: he's a greedy power hungry megalomaniac that uses populism and
oil wealth to leverage power in country that has a shaky political
systems and feeble democracy.

Just because people vote doesn't mean things will work out. 1000
people can elect a dictator even if 100 million vote. It just depends
on the system. I have no confidence in Venezuela's democracy and,
apparently, they agree with me.
