Fantastic Planet and Light Years were French. I didn'tknow he was involved in the novels though.
As for Fantastic Voyage, I think Asimov only did the novelization. Forgot to mention, Arthur C. Clarke had a much better record with movies. Both 2001 and 2010 were very good adaptations of the books. Mind you, he had a good deal of creative control over both movies, working directly with Kubrick on 2001 and having the last word on the script for 2010. Another SF author that's had a near butcher's job done to him is Barry Longyear.
