Dana, this is what pisses me off. Look at what you wrote. You didn't say anything about the murderers other than to say that it's news because it shows how unreasonable *they* are. That's apologetics to me. That's ignoring the evil of what happened because you think that it's only being shown for propaganda. Where is your righteous indignation at the senseless assassinations of innocent men, women and children. You're showing me exactly why I'm angry. Overlook the evil to focus on something else. And what will you say to me? You'll say that you're not overlooking the evil, you care for the victims but your just pointing out a truth. Everyone is pointing out a truth rather than getting right to the point. The point here is that innocents were killed. The point is that their own people don't care. The point is that the world should be speaking out against senseless murder but it doesn't. The world doesn't speak out because it's focused on the news being propaganda rather than the people the news is about.
Am I too angry to talk or is my anger making me talk about the things others don't want to? Is my anger cutting through all the BS to the core of the problem? It is sad. The whole thing is sad. This is what humanity has come to. The blind not speaking about the evil. Yes, I think *some* is a needless qualification. When people talk about another group, they never mean every single member of it. "CFers look at ..net as the enemy". Should I have to say some CFers? Most CFers or can I just say CFers and let the reader understand that I'm not talking absolutes. OK, let me do it this way. MOST Muslims have no problems murdering Jews. MANY Muslims don't care if Shia are murdered because they are not 'their type' of Muslims. SOME news articles are propaganda. FEW people protest the senseless murders that go on across the world due to religious ass holes (sorry, extremists, militants or insurgents). >I wasn't questioning your numbers, which seem specific enough, as much as >your perceptions. Yes, Google News is a great thing -- it's where I get my >information also. I still don't think I am getting the full story. I still >question whether Iraqi casualties are even reported. Because nobody cares. >Suicide bombers blow up a school, well, that's news, because it shows how >unreasonable *they* are. It wouldn't even take censorship -- just a press >afraid to leave the hotel without a military escort, and voila, the news is >as the military says it is. > > How can there ever be peace if everyone is too angry to talk? It all seems > very sad. > > Just out of curiosity -- I promise not to start an argument over this as > it seems we will not agree regardless -- do you really think that *some* > is a needless qualification? > > Dana > > >>Thank you but this information comes straight from newspapers more local >>to >>the area (Google news is a great thing).
