um, again. What is the LAW in this case. What's on the books. A court can 
alter the application of the law after the fact of it being applies, but the 
base document, the law is the law and there's no opinion as to what it says. 
If speeding is defined as going over a specific speed limit, then this is 
the law. A judge can give his opinion in a specific case but his opinion 
does not alter the law. That seems to be the problem here between us. I'm 
looking at laws and saying that they apply based on the stated practices of 
the law breaker and the observed practice of the law breaker by the 
government. Your saying that the law may or may not have been broken and the 
stated and observed practices mean nothing until evaluated by a court. i.e. 
no one is competent to judge other than a judge.

No, I'm not pissed off that you have not made up your mind. What is 
upsetting me is what I see as a false argument. Your argument (as I see it 
and explained by you above) is that laws are not laws but opinions that can 
be applied. Doesn't matter what is written down be it international law or 
traffic law. Until a court gives its opinion of the law it's not applicable. 
So why bother with a law in the first place.
