Bwahaha......welp, got bad news from the East Coast Farm System (aka Kansas City). Our most talented young pitcher just left camp indefinitely because he's a head case. Zack Greinke. Yep, the same Greinke who lost a major league leading 16 games last year. Don't let that fool you though, the kid has supreme potential.
We are actually grooming your next center fielder as we speak. The Royals player of the year last year was CF David Dejesus. He hit around .290 and played solid defense in only his second full year of service. Oh, and we've got a stockpile of young stud third basemen all of a sudden. Remember these names: Mark Teahan, Billy Butler, Alex Gordon.
