I've been on this list for awhile (as bsimmons at centrasoft dot com), but now I'm accessing them from a new gig I got. Just always been too busy to chime in about sports stuff, plus I'm a little fanatical about it. :) I'm seldom seen without a Pats or Sox jersey/tee/socks/hat on in public. And my house is somewhat of Sox/Pats temple. Got a five foot Homer Simpson dressed in Red Sox gear (only at x-mas time is Homer allowed back in his Santa outfit). Can't wait to go to the Spring Training games at Legends (Yucks) and Brighthouse (Phils) fields. BTW, cool story: On March 24th, 2004, my wife & I went to the Sox-Yanks Spring Training game at Legends field. My wife was about 2 weeks away from giving birth to our daughter. We got to the field a few hours early, seeking autographs and dressed in full Red Sox attire. While standing over the 3rd base dugout, a voice yells "Hey, Hey, I wanna give to the baby as a present". I turn towards leftfield, it's Kevin Millar coming over to us and gave us his autographed bat and spoke briefly with us. I'm almost fainted, seriously. And naturally the Sox went on to win the World Series. And I tell everyone it's because of my daughter's karma. :) Up until the White Sox and Steelers, my daughter knew nothing but champions (sox & pats), wish I couldva said that growing up (in Rhode Island). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:198459 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
