outsourced, even to the closest allies.

What about corner markets, gas stations, rental properties or car dealerships?
(I think we will probably agree that we are OK with foriegn ownership
of these items, yes?)
That's another boundary.

This all comes down to a public discussion of what things we as the US
are willing to outsource and what things we are not.
