I thikn what makes a person gay or straight is much like what makes someone like Blondes vs Redheads. It will be a very very long time before there is overwhelming evidence supporting Nature or Nurture. Even so, it's primarily moral objections that are stopping gay marriage now, and till that changes I don't see anyone agreeing on anything.
