I don't think somebody should be able to drive in an unsafe way. I'm using that as a general example. Yes your life is more important than my desire to drive like a maniac. However there is something that we use to weigh those two rights.
Life is not fair, however we believe it wrong to allow me to drive in a way that dangers others. Those are morals, sacrificing ones wants for what is right. To me marriage isn't directly about love, love is there without marriage and marriage can be there without love. Marriage can be there without laws. However, my problem with gay marriage has to do with children. I think marriage should be based on family, and the desire for children. I realize there are other economical things that surround gay marriage that people should be entitled to, and I think there should be a way to deal with that. I'm not sure the term marriage is the way to go.
