S.I.

Are you footing the bill for the ex's apartment and living expenses also?

Thanks

Scott

Subject: RE: frustrated...

3 kids, 1 ex and 1 girlfriend. And okay, yes, the girlfriend is my
bag, and I support her 'cause she hasn't really worked in the 5 yrs
since we've been together, but I don't believe it's my place to tell
someone to get a job (and the only thing that accomplishes with my ex
is it makes it harder for me to talk to my kids), and she helps me out
by letting me get more work done instead of having to do laundry or
dishes or cook for myself. :) It's not like either of us feel that's
"her place", it's just a convenient arrangement and she's happy to
help me get more hours toward my own goals.

I've not hired a lawyer in the last 5 years because ::drum-roll::
can't afford one. How am I supposed to afford a lawyer if I can't
hardly pay the bills I already have? Beyond that I've met numerous
divorced fathers who've spent thousands and thousands of dollars
basically just throwing money down the toilet trying to find an
attorney who either can or will do anything to help them with their
divorce problems. I'm reasonably convinced that if there is such a
person, he's too busy to accept me as a client even if I could afford
his exhorbitant fees ('cause he'll definately be the most expensive
attorney on this planet).

Got me a vassectomy right after my ex and I split up... I keep it
under my... well, you know where I keep it. :)

As I've said, a number of stupid decisions made when I was a kid, like
getting married to the wrong woman and not being adamant about waiting
a while to have kids, both of which fed into how I fouled up my chance
to have a degree.

> Shit man, sounds like you need a better lawyer, not a
> better job.

> How many kids you got bro?

> Maybe need to throw a vestictamy as well.
