At what cost Paul? Illegal immigrants are one of the largest drains on our economy... Each year they "export" billions of dollars back to Mexico and Central America that are untaxed. We already pay for their health care through higher overall health care costs due to them not being able to pay. A good chunk of your emergency medical bills goes to cover their unpaid bills already. They also contribute greatly to increased crime rates and other illegal activity.
The fact of the matter is that they're here illegally. I'm all for rounding them up and sending them home. Then making the borders inpenetrable. Israel has the right idea. Big Wall... Shoot em if they jump the fence. If they want to come to america for work, let them do so LEGALLY. There actually are means to get here without wading across a river or being stuffed into the back of a van. I'm in Arizona. We, along with those in California, Texas and New Mexico, may have a slightly different viewpoint on the whole illegal immigration thing... I believe that over 40% of people incarcerated in our prison system here in Arizona are hispanic. Almost 90% of those are also illegals. It's not a matter of joy, love and happiness for all. They simply take from those of us that are actual citizens. And the mexican government encourages it. -----Original Message----- From: Paul Ihrig [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, March 25, 2006 1:50 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: immigration question i think the law is stoopid. so what if we arrest them & charge them with a felony. then what? jail? who pays for that? you and i! i say we should have a open door policy to any Hispanic who is able to find legal work in the united states. if our Young people don't want to farm, fine, lets pay the Latino community an honest wage that we can tax... pretty simple.. while we are at it let make health care free & available to all... we are the most powerful nation in the world, lets start acting like it. -paul ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:201566 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
