Around here, they are paying in crisp $20 bills and not reporting any of it to anybody. The farm owners take a van down to the work today place, pick up 5 or 6 people and take them back to the farm, pay them in cash that day and take them back. Same with construction and many other things.
As for not deriving any benefit. Any hospital that takes federal money cannot turn anybody away. I know at the UK Med Center they treat hundreds of illegal immigrants a week, maybe even a day. Some even come for regular appointments.
