And one other point here, this is how Europe has gotten such a huge immigrant problem: by encouraging a HUGE working class but then denying them the rights of citizenship. The concept that we can bring in "guest workers", use their labor, and then shove them out the door is ridiculous. It would encourage extremism and we'd begin to see the riots that Europe is. Further, think of what would happen if we unleashed the entrepreneurial potential in this class that is currently being held back with an archaic law! We could have an economic boom. And finally there's the impact this class can make on our social security time bomb even there were no entrepreneurial boom. In short, I can see no remotely sensible practical, ethical, moral, or economic reason to not encourage more immigration BEYOND amnesty for these 12 million workers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:201612 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
