Rolling a stop sign is criminal, it is a misdemeanor offence, and subject to a fine, it also enables the officer to check for a seat belt violation in some states and insurance violation, both of which carry higher fines. Sure you might get a warning.
But in the case of illegal immigrants being in the country, they don't even get a warning.
