 The whole thing is shameful. Here we are a nation of immigrants and a-holes like Tom Tancredo and Pat Buchanan are now trying to keep out the "darkies". They whine about border enforcement and "illegal" immigration, but what they are really after is a way to keep America "white". I think Pat Buchanan's euphemism is to maintain the Judeo-Christian European roots of the country, or some BS like that. Never mind that everything from Mexico to Argentina was colonized by Spain, Portugal, France, and Britain.
What's worse, at the rate the population is aging, within a few years we are going to be desperate to import young people from abroad to keep the economy from grinding to a halt. And yet here we are like fools talking about building the Great Wall of America to "secure the border". It didn't work for the Chinese and it isn't going to work for us. :end rant: On 3/26/06, Dana Tierney <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Getting a green card is not easy.
