Well, it could be, or it could be part of the stuff God hasn't told anybody about yet.
The bible doesn't claim we are alone, it doesn't claim that age of anything. It talks about days, but that is a day to God, I'm assuming an all powerful deity could get a lot more done in his day than I can do in mine.
