Yep..same problem from the other side.

Would I speak out against a teacher laughing at a student for carrying a 
bible and pontificating on atheisim?  You bet I would.  I'd be at the 
school board demanding their head.

And as for the ACLU, they don't only defend only one side of an issue, they 
defend the constitutionally protected rights of the people. If the case of 
a child who was being persecuted for carrying a bible was presented to 
them, they would be all over it, as they would any case of persecution for 
constitutionally protected freedoms.
