It's possible that Macs will overtake PCs in 10 years. Or that they will only gain 1% of total PC marketshare, but if it makes shareholders millions and billions who gives a crap about "marketshare"? For example, Porsche probably has, say, 0.5% marketshare of cars sold, but maybe 20% of the sports car market. Does that mean that other companies have "won"? Or does it mean Porsche has a killer product for a niche market?
