It caused a huge influx of illegal immigrants, it has failed before and will fail again. The only thing left to try is to actually enforce the laws we have on the books against those that hire illegals, and to actually go out and get illegals. The government knows where they are, and could root them out easily, if it were a priority. It hasn't been one for the simple fact that people in the US are making money off of the illegal immigrants. We have to make it so it is no longer worth employing illegals.
One thing I feel it is important to point out, I am not talking about a specific race. I mean a country wide crack down against all illegal immigrants, of all colors, from all countries. At the same time we should provide technical and if need be monetary help to improve conditions in those third and second world nations that are where the largest numbers of illegals come from.
