In my opinion, yes. I think it is important when our goverenment is lying to us, possibly breaking the laws of the US and other countries, violating treaties, and possibly torturing people, that we know about it. Without that knowledge, we cannot hold those responsible to account.
If this was so above board, but just secret, then there would not have been such a public reaction, and there would be no public outcry that the administration was wrong. (Which there seems to be.)
