You missed the point. It wasn't, "we should stick to fossil fuels", it was that the market should be allowed to dictate what energy sources we use. Further the author was speculating that the likely candidate for future energy needs will be fossil fuels. His logic is that they're more abundant than other sources and therefore the cost to develop technologies to make better use of them will be cheaper and easier than to use, say, hydrogen. As a reference he included a book by energy economist Mark Jaccard entitled "Sustainable Fossil Fuels" where he makes the same economic point. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:206453 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
