ok well, for contrast -- many routes here stop running at 5:30pm. After six those that are still running go to every thirty minutes or every hour. All bus service everywhere is history by about 9, except for one more or two more runs on the Central Avenue line. Sunday service, haha, stops at 3.
They recently started running buses along Central Avenue once an hour on Friday on Satuday nights until 3, because so many people pointed out how stupid it was to be trying to develop a bar district downtown while giving people no way to get home except by car. Needless to say driving through there after midnight on a Friday is like running a gauntlet -- all your marker lights better work and you best be sure you signal each and every turn...
