Thankfully this is still pretty much how we do things in most of
Afghanistan.

I hate seeing the conventional Army throw away the gains it made through
blood sweat and tears.  We needed the armor and the heavy army for the
invasion.  Now SOCOM should be allowed to take over and finish the job.
