I have occasional pain in my back. I solve it by hanging upside down and
doing situps.  The hanging upside down thing really works for me but some
other people who've tried it at my suggestion havent had the same results.
I've also heard that sitting on an excersize ball while you work and
occasionaly bouncing in it can really strengthen stomach muscles.
