Yeah, and Bush ran on a ticket of restoring dignity to the White House...*stifles a chuckle*. Clinton had a terrific image with the independent voters. Gore spent so much time trying to get himself out of Clinton's shadow...maybe he should have just grabbed onto Bill's coat tails instead. The second run had him facing an opponent who lived off of his wife's > money and made the mistake of saying "I voted for it before I voted > against it." Also, adding a trial lawyer, despised by a larger part > of the population, as a vp candidate didn't help. All of those things could be turned around and used against Bush...it just depends on what side yer on. Bush was a bad businessman who lived off his name and his family's success. He made dozens of ridiculous comments, and his VP candidate was a hawkish hoi-polloi with questionable hunting skills! -- "Ma Teresa joined the mob, and is happy with her full time job." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:214968 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
