It's directly because we've got a divisive administration who uses
fear and meaningless wedge issues to divide a nation.  That type of
despicable behavior isn't a partisan thing, it's a personality thing.

There are plenty of people of both sides that are good strategists,
and fact-based decision makers.  This administration, however, makes
decisions based on emotion, ideology, and faith-based fantasy.

Cheney was on Meet The Press this weekend and Mr. Russert pounded him
with all the crap he's said over the years and his response was
basically I'm still right.

It's shocking to me that anybody, despite the 1000s of mis-judgments
of this administration, would still find them credible on anything.
But they do ... which just goes to show that you can't save people
from themselves.
