The two choices you listed don't exactly make me jump for joy. To fund it, more taxes will be needed. There is enough welfare already. SS is a broken system. I don't even know if it can be repaired. If I could opt out of it today, I would in a heartbeat. Back to the topic at hand though. If the Democrats want to be successful, they should cool the rhetoric. They should stop shouting No, No, No and being so negative. People don't want to hear it. It would be much more effective if they just said, the Republicans have done the best that they can; however we can do better.
