Social Security, as a program, isn't broken at all. It's the uneducated voters and, through them, Congress that's broken. Had Congress not left the SS fund full of IOUs there'd be no problem. The country has been raiding every money source it can for the last 4 decades and now the bill is coming and everyone is getting up to leave. Well we can't. We have to pay it or endure the consequences. And those consequences are poor old people dying in the streets. Since it's the irresponsible Baby-Boomers that have caused this mess, I say THEY pay for it. We cut all SS benefits to anyone that can live above the poverty line without it. To the rest we give Welfare. Or we let die in the street. But it should be one or the other. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:215832 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
