These parents religion doesn't matter. What does matter is that they signed a permission slip allowing their children to be taken to a place where, ultimately, they were exposed to stuff that the parents did not want them too.
The parents have themselves to blame. PERIOD. Hence their complaining is ill focused, and the firing of the teacher is a travesty.
