Just keeping taking him out. When he wakes up. After he eats. And Every couple of hours in between there if you think he is restless. Also after playing hard with him he might have to pee.
You'll get to know his body language when he needs to go. Mine go into a cyclone. Circling around until the spot is perfect. You're getting there. Lately been teaching mine to bark when they want to go out. Some people ring a bell next to the door and teach them to ring it when they want to go. To do that you just ring it everytime you go out and say your "word" like I'd say "Potties" and ring the bell. I tell mine to speak before I'll open the door and let them out. Your little pup is one of the smarter breeds. Very intelligent. He'll learn in a snap if you stick with him and be as repetitive as possible. Great little agility dog too.
